This enormous piece was created without the use of a scaled model, or even a sketch. The texture is inspired by the flow of a strong river. During the creation decisions were made that often did not align with the materials natural state. Thus the title was born, the artist followed the flow by mimicking the movement of water in the texture, yet this process often required the artist to go against the grain of the purpose of the materials that were used.
This work consists of approximately 80% PU foam, which means that this piece is lighter than expected and has a high factor of noise absorption from sound coming through the back of the artwork. 
 
This piece is a functional statement piece that will elevate any space.
